Beans, beans they’re good for your heart
The more you eat, the more you…
Alright, you get the idea. (: I’m back to making babyfood! Maddox just ate the last of his peas, carrots, sweet potatoes and bananas. So, the next adventure in baby food is green beans!
One bag of frozen green beans — 88 cents I think.
Boil some water.
Dump in the green beans, stir about until they start to boil again.
Turn down heat, put lid back on and simmer for 10 minutes.
Get out a ladle and scoop out some water.
I reserved a cup of water.
Drain your green beans.
Let them cool.
Dump them in your blender.
Pour in some of the reserved green bean water. I ended up using the full cup.
Looks smooth. And green.
Spoon into your ice cube tray.
I got 2 trays out of one 88 cent bag. Cover with foil and put in the freezer.
After about 5 hours in the freezer, mine popped right out.
Store in a labeled freezer bag for no longer than 1 month.
