Pepperoni & Pineapple Pizza
Perfection… well, not entirely.
Things you’ll need: pizza dough (I used this pizza crust mix, it was..eh.), mozzarella cheese, pineapple tidbits, pepperoni and pizza sauce.
This crust told me to mix with 1/2 cup of hot water. Then stir with a fork until well blended. So, of course, I did just that.
Shape into a ball and brush with vegetable oil.
Cover and let set for 5 minutes.
Preheat oven to 475º — spray pizza stone with cooking spray.
Dump dough on pizza stone and spread out. I just used my fingers and palms of my hands. It kept getting little holes in it, but I’d just push it back together.
Prick with a fork, a bunch of times.
Bake in oven on bottom rack for 5 minutes. Mine looked like this when I pulled it out.
Spread on sauce.
Layer on the pepperoni.
Sprinkle on the pineapple.
Then cheese. Lots and lots of cheese.
Put back in 475º oven for 10 minutes (or until cheese is bubbly). I’m not entirely sure why the crust never got golden brown. That was the first turn off for this crust.
But see, it really was good. Preston even gave it two thumbs up and he’s not a pizza fan.
I would definitely call this Pepperoni & Pineapple Pizza Perfection if I would have used a different crust. But, for a quick meal, you can’t beat it.
