Papa Mushy

I haven’t had Papa Murphy’s pizza in a long time. I use to get it all the time, but then I just got tired of it. Last week I noticed they opened a franchise right down the street from me, like on my way home from work, down the street from me. It’s that close. That was appealing, but still not enough to get me in the store.

Then I heard on the radio it was customer appreciation and any large single topping was only $5. That got me in the door. And Maya went with me. Apparently I wasn’t the only one who thought this was a pretty good deal, there was a line when we got there.

While we were waiting Maya looked at me and said, “where’s Papa Mushy? I wanna see him.” I explained to her that Papa Mushy wasn’t here, but we’d get our pizza soon. Hahaha! I think I’ll ask her what she thought of our trip to Papa Mushy’s for “Mondays with Maya.”
