Sunscreen > Vitamin D = ?

Spring is the official start of sunburn season around our house. Especially since three out of the four members of our household burn. No tanning for Preston, or our two gingers.

We were outside today. It’s only a few days into spring and this is what Maya and Maddox looked like after bathtime.

Sunburns are no fun, that’s why I decided to buy this.

110 SPF! Who knew you could even get sunscreen with that high of an SPF? But, with that high of an SPF, a lack of Vitamin D becomes a concern. What’s a mom of a ginger to do?

Is sunscreen more important than the natural absorption of Vitamin D?

I hate sun screen… And sun burn… We make major use of floppy hats and shady areas.

What’s a ginge without a little sunburn? So cute.
