BzzAgent Review: Nature Valley Soft-Baked Oatmeal Squares
“What is that, Mommy?” Maya asked, reaching out her hand.
“Oh, it’s a cookie bar thing. Check out the frosting.”
“Can I have one?” She smiled.
“Mmm, they should call this a cake cookie bar because it has frosting. Can I have another one?”
It’s time for another BzzAgent review: Nature Valley Soft-Baked Oatmeal Squares.
Nature Valley was kind enough to send me three of each kind, so already I love them. (:
I’ve got little kids, so I like to make sure they approve before I go out buying things. And, quite honestly, I didn’t want to share mine.
These bars definitely did not disappoint. And I was leery, what with them not being packed with sugar and their whole grains and such. That can’t taste that good, if it’s semi-good for you, can it?
I’ll say the best part was the frosting drizzled on top. My kids love frosting. Who doesn’t?
It was soft. It was chewy. It had a nice cookie flavor. I love peanut butter cookies, so I wasn’t setting my bar too high. I was surprisingly happy with the flavor of this one. And, then, when I tried the cinnamon brown sugar, I was happy again. I actually couldn’t decide which I liked better.
I’d definitely buy these. But not too often, for fear of eating the whole box.
