Didn’t I just clean that?
I really like having people over to our house. It’s fun. And easier. My kids have toys and I don’t have to worry about them breaking someone else’s stuff.
The only thing I don’t like is the cleaning. It seems to take forever, especially with two little hurricanes messing it up faster than I can clean it.
Usually Preston and I tag team the cleaning on the weekends. It’s a good thing too, because he’s a much better duster and bathroom cleaner. I have his mom to thank for this. Thanks Bev! And, I’m a much better quick, multi-task cleaner. I can breeze through four rooms at record speed. All while putting laundry away. I have my mom to thank for this. Thanks Mom!
Really though, why do I need to pick up that book or picture frame while I’m dusting, anyway? It’s not like dust can get under those. And, who looks at the bottom of the toilet bowl? The mop will get that. Or, at least most of it. I’m not Annie and we’re definitely not inviting Miss Hannigan over.
But, I’ll say, the worst part about having parties is when everyone leaves and you’re stuck with a messy house again. All that hard work is gone.
Lucky for us, we had Preston’s family over so I get to blog in a nice clean house.
