Just keep trying
I’ve been feeling pretty discouraged lately. My legs hurt and I haven’t been running. I told Preston when he finished his workout, I was gonna run. I knew he’d keep me accountable. When I wanna give up, he tells me I can do it.
Before I left he told me not to push too hard. I had plans to run 2 miles and see how my legs were doing. By 1.5 miles, I knew I wanted to run 3 miles. Maybe even 4. I know, right! Rockstar, right here. (:
I let myself be happy with 3. 6 miles and I really was. I felt like I was on top of the world. So much more energy for the day. I even told myself I’d start working out M/W/F at the gym and then do my long runs on Sundays. We’ll see how that goes. (;
