Official Homeowner!

Finally after 1 year and 20 days with a contract, we closed on our dream house! It’s the best feeling ever! It’s actually kinda surreal, our realtor even said, “is this really happening?”

Honestly when I heard this house was in short sale I thought, “wow, this should be a good deal.” I had NO idea what a stressful mess it would turn into. Bank of America is the absolute worst bank to work with when dealing with short sales, and well, that’s who happened to hold the mortgage of this home.

And, now it’s time for the fun to begin. Putting a fence in, getting a well for the sprinklers and finishing the basement. Not to mention, unpacking! We’ve been living here for one year and haven’t unpacked the majority of our things. Preston says it’s gonna be like Christmas, because we’ve forgotten about all of the fun things we had!

Yea for putting pictures on the walls, picking out paint colors and hanging/sewing curtains! I can’t wait!

Seriously, you can’t wait for those things?? I dreaded doing things like that which was pretty much why I never did it. I guess you are the creative sister! I bet you are so relieved it’s just finally done! Congrats!
