It’s almost spring, yea! As I was pushing Maya and Maddox on the swings, I really noticed how much work this area needs.
The stones that were laid before we bought the house are all cracking and uneven. It’s not cool. I wish there would be a way to salvage some of them? Anyone know how? Anyone?
A super cool idea I had was to clear everything out from under there and pour concrete. Ideally, I’d pour concrete under there and extend it out to past where the stones are now. In a cool curvy, organic look.
Kinda like this…
How cool would that be? BTW, I found that picture here. The article also talks about some cool staining techniques. I could do that on my own. Yep, I’d just do that, too. It would be easy. I’m sure, right? Um, maybe I could just help someone and they’d lower the price.
But, all of that concrete can’t be cheap. That’s why I need help.
Help figuring out a cheap and not too difficult (Preston and I aren’t exactly home improvement type of people, something usually goes wrong when we try to fix things) way to spruce up our under-the-deck area and our poor crumbling pavers.
Any ideas?
