Ready, Set, GO.
Alright, so here’s the deal… I have too many junk drawers. Which means, I have too much junk. Either that or I have too many places to store junk. I have three junk drawers and a junk cabinet (all in my kitchen).
Well, to give myself a little credit here, one drawer is filled with mainly Preston’s work stuff/stuff. Gum, inhaler, watch, keys, work pens, etc. Another drawer is filled with mainly supplies, scissors, glue, tape, magnets. And, the third drawer is filled with bills/coupons. Neither of which need to be there… Why am I keeping coupons? I always think I want to use them, but forget about them, I should just be recycling them. And why on earth do I need to keep old bills? Everything is online, once a bill is paid, I should trash it.
But, this cabinet. I have no excuse for. None.
I mean, I honestly don’t even know what all is up there.
And, yes, this cabinet is in my kitchen. It’s the cabinet right next to the fridge. Why? Well, when we moved into the house the basement wasn’t done and it was the catch-all cabinet that I promised I would clean out when we finally closed on the house.
Now I just keep cramming more and more stuff up there. This is my Monica closet (don’t get the reference? Go watch Friends).
I’m so motivated, I came up with a slogan…
GO stands for “Get Organized.”
Pretty catchy, huh? You’re motivated now too, aren’t you.
Hands in. Ready, Set, Get Organized!
