First things first, affiliate links are included in this post. Amazon, specifically.
Second things second, the Amazon Echo is the coolest thing ever. I think.
When I see a good deal, I feel like I’m wasting money not buying it. #supersmart
So, when the Amazon Echo popped up on Prime Day, my money-saving finger clicked “add to cart” and “buy”, faster than I could research what it actually did. So, I bought it and immediately text Preston, “you’re going to love the early anniversary present I just bought!”
When I buy things I’m not certain about, I have two rules:
Rule 1: Always make up a reason for buying thing (ie, anniversary)
Rule 2: Always build thing up (ie, this is the coolest thing ever, you’re gonna love this)
I’ve had the Amazon Echo for a few months now and I am still hearing people talk about the cool things it can do. Turn lights on/off, open/close garage door, play music, tell jokes, be smart. Alexa (the voice inside of the Echo) is like Siri’s younger and smarter sister. Or maybe she’s the older sister? Who knows.
I haven’t actually done anything other than listen to music, get the weather and ask her to tell me jokes, but I love her, and not just because I already bought her. That’s what I call that smart shopping. #supersmart
Comment if you have one. I’d love to hear your favorite thing about Alexa, so I can add it to my list of reasons why I’m so glad I bought the Amazon Echo before I knew anything about it. 🤣
