The yo-yo blogger
So, my friend, Danielle, (you know, Danielle from Volleyball Drills, the one that got me hooked on blogging), always sends me cool links.
Links of recipes she likes, links of articles she likes, links of articles she thinks will be good on Blendra… Today she sent me this one: 6 ways dieting can make you a better blogger. The title of it was interesting enough for me to stop what I was doing and check it out. And, as I read through the six steps I realized the author was totally right.
It’s like a win-win here. I can lose weight and get a successful blog out of the deal. Well, I mean, if I apply those six things. Heck, I’ll bet if I just apply some of them I could be 10 lbs lighter and a better blogger. I’m there Jesse Stanchak. Heck, I liked your post enough, I might just follow you on twitter now.
Here’s a small snippet from his post:
You’ve got to commit. We’ve all seen the spiral before: There’s a flurry of blog posts and self promotion … then fewer posts … then a break, followed by an apologetic post promising more updates soon … followed by eternal silence. You’ve seen the same thing happen with yo-yo dieting friends, I’m sure.
So, check it out: How to blog like a dieter (and vice-versa). It’s a great read, all you stand to lose is some weight. (;
