What will you do with it?
Preston and I went out to dinner with a couple on Saturday night. To make things less confusing, let’s call them Sam and Barbara. We ate, we drank, we were basically pretty damn merry. During the conversation Sam said something that really made me think. Well, not right at the time, at the time I was really hungry and all I could think about was the free loaf of bread that the waitress hadn’t delivered it to our table. That was the double vodka and tonic thinking.
Anyway, back to the point at hand, he’s all, “if you think about it, we’re all only give a short time with this life. I don’t want to look back and think, that’s what I did with it?”
It’s totally true. God has given us this one life on earth. And, for the most part you can do with it as you wish. You never know how much time you’ll be given.
You should do what you love. Love what you do. Push yourself beyond your limits. Be proud of yourself.
Who cares if you’ve made mistakes. We’ve all made mistakes. It’s the mistakes that help us grow.
Now go out there and live that life you want. And, if you just can’t get past the worrying to live the life you want, go comment on this post. You may win a free book to help with that. (:
